Our Ship Island tour which is 1.5 hours in duration tours the south end of Lake Couchiching up between the 2 biggest Islands on the lake, “Chiefs Island and Horseshoe Island”. Chiefs Island is a native burial ground totally undeveloped due to it’s sacred cemetery.
Horseshoe Island which at one time was a farm community, it’s now a summer cottage island. The feature of this tour is Ship Island nestled between the two big islands, Ship Island has a huge population of Double Crested Cormorants that call this little Island home.

This 2.25 hour tour on Lake Couchiching combines a passage to Lake Simcoe through the Atherley Narrows separating Lake Simcoe from Lake Couchiching.
This is a fascinating experience for the discerning tour enthusiast. Passing us by in the narrows is the 5000 yr old site of the original native settlers Fish Wier’s. The narrow passage is fully developed with Marina’s and always a fun and entertaining part of the tour.
